Location:
Shanghai / other locations Chengdu or Chongqing (Flexibility outside Shanghai if you are
open to spending 50% of time in Shanghai)
An ideal candidate would have:
• Demonstrated expertise in Landscape architecture design.
• Proven experience in the Chinese market.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English languages.
• A minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of successful leadership roles.
• Proven ability in managing teams, overseeing at least 10-12 team members.
• Client management
• Business development expertise
• Solid financial acumen
Role Purpose:
• The Director/Principal Partner/Executive Director holds a pivotal role, overseeing the
leadership of the Studio with responsibilities ranging from winning projects and
managing client relationships to financial, operational, people leadership, and design
leadership.
• The Studio Management roles, serving as key reports, play a vital role in organizing
various aspects of studio operations, including financial management, translation,
and other facets reflective of the studio’s functions.
• You would lead and shares the responsibility for the overall design direction, day-today
project management, client liaison through the team, presentation at project
meetings, and other project-related activities as needed.
• Furthermore, you would be actively contributing to the ongoing local and global
development of the studio, fostering its brand and culture in a collaborative and
proactive manner.
