PARADE STAFFINGFor the past twenty years, our client has managed hundreds of real estate and capital projects, developing creative solutions to complex problems across the built environment. They are seeking New York City-based project leaders to drive capital projects through all stages of development.
Role Overview:
Project Managers are the core team member of all projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include client interaction, project team coordination, contractor and schedule management, budget management, and other project-related activities to ensure successful and timely completion of the project. The Project Manager will report to firm Principals, Project Executives, or Senior Project Managers.
Required Experience:
Prospective applicants should have 8–15 years of experience in architecture or related practices with experience overseeing project delivery. This experience should include direct involvement in:
- Site supervision and construction administration
- Coordinating between or with A/E teams and contractors
- Schedule and budget management
Applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present themselves confidently in meetings and manage the project team. Additionally, the position requires proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and, particularly, Excel). Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam are particularly valuable as well, as is knowledge of construction scheduling programs such as MS Projects.
Applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills and be prepared to lead project meetings. This role will also require 5 days in office or on site depending on schedule. Remote work is not an option.
Compensation: Base salary in the $110-130k range, aggressive bonus potential with total compensation nearing $130-170k range, DOE. Generous benefits package and great work life balance.
