As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking a talented Senior Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Designer with a passion for modern residential design. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on high-end residential projects in New York City and the Hamptons, demonstrating a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from concept development through to construction documentation for high-end modern residential projects.
- Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to translate design concepts into executable plans.
- Conduct site visits and provide oversight during the construction phase to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Mentor and guide junior staff members, providing support and fostering their professional growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and best practices to ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 8+ years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on high-end modern residential projects in NYC and the Hamptons.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Extensive familiarity with NYC & NYS Building Codes, zoning regulations, construction techniques and detailing, as well as working knowledge of related engineering disciplines and project administration practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, proactive and effective leadership skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Must be based in the New York City metro area and have legal authorization to work in the US.
