Location/Type: Athens, GA, Fully remote/Full-time

Job Description: Our fully remote firm is looking to expand its team by hiring a Project Architect I with 6 to 10 years of experience using Revit and other related software to aid in the design and production of residential and commercial buildings, (including Office spaces, Restaurants, Multi-family, Retail, Hospitality, Educational, Ecclesiastical), and more within the building field. This role will provide opportunities to get involved in a broad spectrum of designs and will have a focus on multi-disciplinary growth within the building field. The select individual will work under a licensed registered architect aiding in design and 3D modeling with opportunities to grow in both knowledge and skills in a collaborative design approach. Our firm values collaboration and each team member’s input as well as their personal growth in the field and within the firm. Other related tasks such as selecting materials and finishes as well as specifications within the practice of building design may be asked of the individual. Office and site visits WILL be necessary occasionally.

Remote Work Description: As this position is fully remote the selected individual will be expected to perform the duties of designing and drafting using Revit from a home office located within a maximum of 1Hr drive from Athens, Ga. Daily scheduled meetings will be held remotely via platforms such as “Microsoft Teams” where plans will be discussed, and screen sharing will be expected. An individual will be available via email, text, phone call or “Teams” during working hours. Our office will serve, as it does for all our employees, as a “check in, check out” hub, as well as a space for trainings, collaborative teamwork, and client meetings.

What We’re Looking For: A talented individual who is honest, proactive, a good listener and communicator, with a passion for building design. Organization, attention to details, as well as critical thinking and speed are important. Personal time management is a HIGHLY valued skill as individuals must be able to complete work by the given deadlines. Outstanding communication skills both written and oral are a must to thrive in our fully remote team. As this is an out of office position, self-discipline and self-motivation are key.
