INDE Architecture is looking for Intermediate Designers and a Project Architect to join our team. We work on a variety of project types from New Construction to Tenant Improvements in the corporate, healthcare, life science, education and residential markets. Currently, we are looking for a Project Architect to join our team. This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing the technical development of projects.
Project Architect Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited architectural, or interior design school
- Minimum of 3 years diverse experience with an increasing level of responsibility in an architectural or interior design office.
- California Architectural license required for Project Architect position.
- Ability to lead client meetings and project team meetings.
- Strong graphic, written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of projects, including managing multiple-discipline consultant teams, as well as control project scope, schedule and budget.
- Strong working knowledge of the California Building Code.
- Proven ability to manage clients and establish client needs and priorities
- Detail oriented with strong design skills
- Strong ability to multi-task and advance multiple projects simultaneously
- Healthcare project experience, with OSHPD a plus.
- Proficiency in Revit, with a working knowledge of Bluebeam and MS Project.
- Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive and effective team environment.
The Intermediate Designer, with oversight from a Project Manager, will assist in the development of the technical aspects of projects, including the production of construction documents, consultant coordination and construction administration.
Requirements:
- 4+ years’ experience
- Commercial and corporate interiors experience
- Revit proficiency
- Degree in architecture
- RA a plus
- Strong communication skills along with a detailed oriented mindset
- Media/entertainment experience a plus
- Knowledge of construction, detailing, materials, methods and costs.
- Knowledge of building codes and ADA Accessibility Guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited architectural, or interior design school
- Minimum of 4 years diverse experience with an increasing level of responsibility in an architectural or interior design office.
- Experience in all phases of projects, from Design Development through Construction Administration.
- General knowledge of building codes, building materials, finishes, furniture installation and construction methods.
- Ability to effectively manage workload, prioritize project deadlines, set expectations with consultant, and coordinate multiple disciplines.
- Detail oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and advance multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Revit
- Possess excellent written, verbal and graphic communication skills
