OVERVIEW
Anacapa Architecture is seeking an Interior Designer to become an integral part of our Santa Barbara, CA, and Portland, OR collaborative studio environment, working all phases of project delivery on a wide variety of project types.
A successful Interior Designer at ANACAPA Architecture will skillfully manage the Interior design of multiple projects simultaneously. This includes design, 3D modeling, presentation graphics, and materials, production of plans/specifications, quality control, consultant coordination, product procurement, construction administration, coordination with Anacapa team members, and maintaining deadlines and schedules. The Interior Designer will ultimately be responsible for the daily design or technical development of the interiors of a project.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design and/or Interior Architecture
- Licensed (preferably in California) or pursuing licensure
- 3-5 years of professional design experience
- Willing and able to commute to our Santa Barbara or Portland office
DESIRED SKILLS
- Experience working on high-end residential and commercial interior design
- Extensive experience in Revit generating plans, elevations, and schedules
- Experience using Studio Designer
- Proficiency in 3D Modeling and rendering (Rhino, Revit, Enscape)
- Extensive experience in FF&E procurement with established vendor relationships
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Effectively work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage work independently
- Work constructively as a member of a collaborative team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
