About the Job

We are currently looking for a Building Simulation Analyst to join our growing New Orleans studio.

Responsibilities

Applicants are expected to be trained in architecture or engineering and have demonstrated experience in the use of technical analysis to support sustainable design, including experience with daylight, climate analysis. life cycle materials assessment, building assembly thermal and moisture analysis, energy modeling, and/or computational fluid dynamics.

They should understand and be able to explain typical building mechanical (HVAC) systems and be able to understand and assess energy modeling results from consultants.

Qualifications

Applicants should be comfortable in Revit, Rhino, or both, and be able to show through their portfolio that they can communicate complex technical results simply and clearly.

Excellent collaboration, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Professional degree in the field of design and construction (architecture, mechanical engineering).

LEED or WELL Building accreditation, or experience with Living Building Challenge, Enterprise Green Communities, or PassiveHouse certification is a strong plus.

Those who bring 3-5 years experience will be preferred, but those with a shorter track record of accomplishment will be considered.
