Levitt Bernstein is an award-winning design-led architectural practice based in London and Manchester, working on a broad range of projects across all sectors including residential, arts and public buildings, community, education, leisure projects and regeneration schemes. Our Place studio brings related landscape and urban design expertise and an integrated approach to all of our projects.
Our London studio is looking for a talented urban designer, with at least two years’ post-graduate experience.
We have a growing reputation for the successful delivery of frameworks and masterplan projects in line with our ethos to deliver form and function with pleasure and delight. An innovative contemporary approach interwoven with conceptual design integrity is key to our approach.
This is an opportunity for a talented individual to flourish in a design-led environment and to play a significant role across the practice. You will have a post-graduate degree in urban design or related qualification, with a track record of UK-based project-running at all stages, preferably with regeneration and housing experience, versatile and able to think creatively across a broad range of influencing factors. A good knowledge of urban design best practice and UK planning policy is essential.
Advanced levels of Adobe Suite skills, Sketch-up and AutoCAD are required, and knowledge of Autodesk’s Revit is an advantage. Excellent graphic, hand drawing and presentation skills required.
