Duration: Fixed period of five years, with the possibility of an extension of the contract beyond the fixed period.
The open position entails leading one of the three design studios at the I oA formerly led by Greg Lynn. The studio has developed a strong position and focus on engaging transformations in contemporary culture and technology with architectural innovation in order to create new spatial experiences and building types. The teaching is located at the spatial and material intersection of the digital and physical and combines technical expertise with cultural awareness to secure the relevance of our students in the field of architecture for decades to come.
We are looking for an internationally recognized architect/practitioner with their own projects and accomplishments. The candidate should have a reputation of professional excellence and a record on high-quality standards on realized works or research projects in the architectural field.
