NEUENEUE Studios is looking for a team leading interior architect/architect to join the team in Berlin, Germany.

We derive inspiration from the study of historical masterpieces and the exceptional craftsmanship of renowned decorators, interior designers and architects. Our practice is underscored by extensive research into specific rules and orders of design, while the understanding of the perfect harmony between objects of antiquity and contemporary moments drives our endless pursuit of elegance.

You will:
- join our team of architects and interior designers to work on projects in the hospitality, product and retail sectors of the industry
- work on projects throughout all phases of our design process with a focus on conceptualising and preparing drawings for construction
- work as a team leader during the whole design process
- skilled in leading and engaging project staff in high-level performance, creative continuous improvement and self-motivated collaborative teamwork
- approachable, responsive and confident to manage and work with internal and external stakeholders in a collaborative and supportive manner
- set targets, monitor progress and make critical decisions as to deliver projects on time and within budget and meet clients’ expectations work on multiple assignments/deadlines and interact with staff of all levels
- travel abroad to present or approve work directly with the clients
You are:
- highly self-organised, proactive and time efficient with proven ability to effectively manage workload
- proficiency in software – Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign
- fluent in English oral, reading and writing; German language is a plus
- approachable and collaborative leadership
- knowledge of the hospitality industry an advantage
- strong knowledge of construction documentation and conceptual thinker
- confident in bringing ideas to the table and working collaboratively in a team
- excellent in problem-solving, multitasking, delegating and leading a team
- able to work closely with clients
- able to present work with confidence and eloquence
- able to communicate clearly, logically and sensitively with client, contractor and consultant
- switched-on, highly motivated and capable to execute responsibilities logically and accurately
You have:
- a master’s degree in architecture, interior architecture or other relevant field
- a minimum of two years’ experience in project management
- a minimum of eight to ten years’ experience in interior architecture or architecture
- experience with both interior architecture and architecture
- experience with concept development that involves context and user research, expanding and translating abstract ideas into a comprehensive design framework
- experience with projects within hospitality
- knowledge and experience in product design
- good communication skills
