Job Description

As a Staff Architect or Architect-in-Training your primary responsibilities will be to assist, support and execute plans and commitments for all phases of the architectural delivery process.

You will assist our small but mighty team with:

  • Measuring of as-built field conditions
  • Zoning code, design guidelines & building code research
  • Schematic design, design development, and construction drawings
  • Presentation drawings
  • Coordination between consultants including MEP, structural and civil engineers and interior designers
  • Project specifications
  • Reviewing product or shop drawing submittals during the construction phase
  • Field observations to monitor progress of construction
  • Preparation of marketing materials

Support a cohesive and organized team by:

  • Participating in the architectural design process and developing alternative solutions through presentation graphics to communicate concepts to the client for approval
  • Creating three-dimensional building information modeling and two-dimensional construction documentation using Revit for Architecture software
  • Picking up redline changes and revisions on project documents
  • Organizing and maintaining project files, both paper and digital
  • General office activities such as running errands, scanning, printing, organizing supplies and samples, preparing for and providing hospitality to clients who visit our office and other supporting activities

Position Requirements:

  • Degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program
  • 3-6 years of experience (experience in Residential Design a plus)
  • Revit – Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience
  • AutoCAD – basic skills
  • Adobe Photoshop – Intermediate working knowledge
  • SketchUp – Intermediate working knowledge
  • Microsoft Excel – Intermediate skills
  • Other Microsoft Office products – basic skills
  • Google Docs and Sheets – basic skills
