We are looking for a full-time Senior Project Manager to join our growing team in an architectural role focused on projects of varying scales and technical complexities. The right person for this role will be an excellent communicator, strategic thinker and collaborative problem solver, as well as have significant code analysis and detailing/documentation experience. The right person will also have substantial QA/QC experience and has managed multiple commercial, multi-family, mixed-use and/or hospitality projects from design to close-out. This Sr. Project Manager will oversee the architectural, interpersonal and administrative aspects of projects, collaborating with our dedicated in-house project team, as well as consultants and clients across the country. The Sr. Project Manager will be the construction site representative and primary client contact throughout the life of their projects. There will be out-of-state travel for meetings and job site visits required. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will be part of the studio leadership and is expected to engage in the activities and advancement of the studio, as well as providing support, mentorship and training to junior staff.
This position is available at either our Los Angeles or Colorado Springs location.
Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
· Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture
· License preferred
· 12-15+ years of experience
· Recent, comprehensive experience dealing with accessibility codes is a bonus
· Software Experience to include AutoCAD, BIM, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite
· ArchiCAD and Ajera experience is preferred
· Thorough organization skills
· Strong communication skills
· Attention to both detail and big-picture concepts
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently
· Excellent drawing coordination and documentation skills
· Solid knowledge of codes, specs, engineering systems and construction methods
· Resourceful, adaptive and efficient
· Ability to resolve complex issues and develop solutions
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to mentor and guide individuals and teams
