The Position

We are seeking a Senior Project Architect with 12+ years of experience in high end residential design to join our team. The ideal candidate has an intuitive design sensibility, deep knowledge of permitting, can build out a CD set independently using Revit, and can navigate complexities. This candidate will work full time, but we are open to remote work two to three days a week with in person work the rest of the time in our Hollywood studio.

Qualifications

  • Interest in contributing to thoughtful and detailed design work
  • 12+ years of experience in high end residential design
  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch, M.Arch, or both) from a U.S.-accredited institution. Licensure is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to execute Revit-based design work on both small and large projects — expert Revit skills are required
  • Experience in the production of Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation
  • Desire to take on responsibility and lead others
  • Refined design eye and innovative problem-solving
  • Highly proficient in creating presentation materials using Revit, Autocad, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering software like Enscape.
  • Ability to complete a full permit-ready drawing set and work with the planning department
  • Familiarity working with different jurisdictions and navigating different building codes
  • In depth detailing skills and construction knowledge
  • Motivated, independent, flexible, and a collaborative problem solver with a strong work ethic
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is required
