The St. Charles Client
St. Charles has a luxury client base that include architects, interior designers, builders, and homeowners. St. Charles works with clients in our New York showroom, as well as through on-site visits, and virtual technologies. In all cases, St. Charles delivers world class customer service and a superb client experience.
Job Responsibilities
– Manage large-scale projects with high-end clientele through all phases: concept through installation
– Liaise with Creative Director, clients, contractors, vendors, and employees
– Coordinate/collaborate with outside Architect or Interior Designer as needed
– Work with Creative Director to implement design
– Create and maintain estimates, project budgets and schedules, maintain project binders
– Serve as Client liaison for sending proposals and tracking proposal approval and payment
– Create schematic drawings and renderings to assist in creation of design presentations
– Participate in client presentations
– Request quotes and write proposals
– Manage project-related customer service issues
– Oversee construction, including preparing contractor documents and punch lists
– Coordinate and attend client meetings and prepare project-meeting notes for distribution
Job Requirements
– Minimum 5 years of professional experience in high-end residential kitchen design
– Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture from an accredited program
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D software, Adobe, and Microsoft Office required
– Extensive knowledge of kitchen design and space planning, working knowledge of construction methods
– Understanding of cabinetry construction, detailing, and related shop drawing review process
– Strong knowledge and experience specifying high-end appliances and countertop products
– Excellent communication skills and must be a team player
– Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented professional with superior analytical and problem-solving skills
– Possess the requisite skills and be motivated to provide efficient, timely and excellent customer service
– This is a fast pace office so the candidate must be highly organized and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Must be able to travel both locally and out of state as projects require
– Discretion is a must
Salary
Commensurate with experience and skills – Range $100,000 to $125,000
Employment Location/Hours:
Job Type: Full time, Exempt employee Work Schedule/Location: Located in company showroom and offices located in the A&D building in Manhattan’s upper east side. The standard hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.
