We are now exclusively representing a Senior Architect job, based in Leamington Spa. This opportunity is with an industry-leading practice, in the heritage and conservation sectors. They are currently working on several high-profile projects both public and private.
They work on all manners of conservation, from museums and galleries, to palaces and private estates. They have attained an attractive portfolio that aligns with their prestigious name within the sector. The practice supports the personal and professional development of its employees and will be happy to discuss your development to the associate level.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate design and teams on projects
- Coordinate client and stakeholder meetings answering any questions as they come up
- Work alongside existing team and senior staff to meet deadlines
- Demonstrate your strong technical and design skills
- Working on a project from conception to completion
- You will be required to carry out site visits, regular travel is to be expected within this role
- Communicate regularly and report to the directors.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years minimum on UK projects is essential
- Previous experience working on historic building conservation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working across all RIBA stages and administration of historic building contracts
- AABC, IHBC, or RIBA SCA is desirable
- Proficient in Vectorworks and AutoCAD.
