Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-year architectural college degree from an accredited U.S. college or university
- 3-years minimum architectural work experience
- Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent work ethic; Exhibits sound, practical, professional judgment at all times.
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively within a team environment
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
- Ability to produce design and construction documents in an accurate and timely manner
- Ability to coordinate with other team members and consultants
Beneficial Additional Skills:
- Experience working on K-12 or higher educational projects
- Good design skills; ability to assist with design and design development of projects
- Proficient in the use of Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, Sketch-up, Lumion and similar software
- Knowledge of the permitting process through the Division of the State Architect (DSA) and/or City of San Diego
- Knowledge of California Building Code, Title 24. Americans with Disabilities Act
- An individual working toward Architectural Licensing welcome
