MacCracken Robinson Architects is a well-established architecture firm in San Francisco. We have abroad range of interesting new projects in commercial, tenant improvement and residential work on the boards in the greater Bay area. Our workload is approximately 50% residential and 50% commercial so the projects are generally diverse and interesting with considerable opportunity for employees to experience varied aspects of architecture.
We are looking to expand our team with the addition of a highly motivated Project Manager/Job Captain with experience in contract document and client and consultant interface. The position will require a solid knowledge and experience in CAD drafting, presentation 3D drawing and ability to assemble a production submittal/construction drawing set. All work will have review and supervision of a Project Manager or Principal.
Tasks will include:
Schematic design and design development drafting & coordination.
Submittal and CD document production including detail drawings.
Construction Administration, on site visits & contractor interaction.
Material selection and schedules.
Interaction with local jurisdictions, DBI, SF Planning and permit submittal and approval.

3-5 years experience.
Architecture degree (Preferrable an MA from an accredited university).
Strong graphics and drafting skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
LEED certification valued.
CAD expertise (Vectorworks preferred but not required).
3D modeling experience (SketchUp at least).
