Position Summary
As a Project Manager, you’ll enjoy a dynamic role that fosters collaboration and growth. You will serve as the vital bridge connecting our valued clients, our innovative design team, and our visionary partners.
On a daily basis, you’ll have the opportunity to engage closely with our clients, swiftly addressing their needs, effectively conveying priorities, and establishing clear and realistic timelines. Your adept communication skills will play a pivotal role in ensuring client satisfaction and the smooth progression of projects.
Additionally, you’ll take charge of resource allocation for your projects, strategically assigning staff time to optimize efficiency and maximize creative output.
As a respected leader within our office, you’ll play an integral role in cultivating an atmosphere of continuous learning and professional development. Your involvement in the training and mentorship of our talented design staff will contribute to their growth, enhancing their skills and nurturing their potential.
Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate in the development of design concepts with staff, partners, and clients.
Work with clients to set expectations for project schedule and deliverables.
Schedule staff time to ensure that deadlines are met in the most efficient manner possible.
Review work produced by staff before it leaves the office to ensure that it is responsive to the client’s needs and meets our internal standards.
Hands-on production of more complex deliverables like design reports.
Participate in the development of technical and design standards for the office.
Mentor and train design staff.
Qualifications:
Excellent design sensibility.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize competing demands.
Excellent attention to detail.
Agreeable.
Adaptable.
Works well with others.
Bachelors’ degree in Architectural or Theatrical Lighting Design, Architecture, or Interior Design.
5-15 years’ experience in the field of architectural lighting including in a project management role.
Knowledge of lighting terminology, technology, and basic calculations.
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience with Adobe Suite, especially InDesign.

Base salary: $85,000/yr. – $110,000/yr. Exact compensation commensurate with ability and experience.
Type: Full-time, Hybrid with 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
