Nokken is hiring a project manager to join its team remotely.

Nokken is a cutting-edge contemporary modular design firm that specialises in creating innovative and sustainable solutions for modern living and hospitality spaces. With a focus on sleek aesthetics, functionality and environmental consciousness, we are at the forefront of revolutionising modular design. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced project manager to join our team and lead the execution of our exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

  • collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, engineers and contractors, to ensure successful project delivery from conception to completion
  • develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, budgets and resource requirements
  • oversee the coordination of design and construction activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations
  • manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle
  • proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, solving problems and making critical decisions to keep projects on track
  • communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project progress, addressing concerns and managing expectations
  • foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among project team members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, design, project management or related field
  • proven experience as a project manager in the field of modular design or construction
  • strong understanding of contemporary design principles and sustainable construction practices
  • excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and team members
  • proficient in project management software and tools
