VanderHorn Architects, a Greenwich, CT architecture firm, specializing in the finest quality residential design, seeks an experienced Project Manager. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of large single-family residential projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Works with the Principal to design projects.
- Develops, checks, and coordinates all technical aspects of each project.
- Leads in construction drawing efforts.
- Assists in project code review.
- Coordinates the work of project consultants.
- Oversees the work of assisting staff.
- Follows established standards for project production.
- Participation in construction phase site meetings.
Key Skills:
- Three years’ minimum experience managing similar projects with limited oversight.
- Must have good time management and estimation skills and be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects in an efficient manner.
- M.Arch or B.Arch required.
- Architect’s license for Connecticut or adjacent state(s) preferred.
- Demonstrate understanding of traditional residential design and wood frame design.
- Strong graphics, presentation, and communications skills. A professional, respectful, and respectable demeanor is absolutely essential.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, with knowledge of Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, and Microsoft Office a plus.
Must currently live within 40 miles of Greenwich, CT. This is an in-office position, with the option of working remotely on Fridays.
