The firm collaborates with many of the world’s most respected architects, landscape architects, institutions and real estate developers in the realization of water features for all kinds of significant and delightful places.
Fluidity is looking for a designer with a foundation in architecture and design, with an emphasis in design development, coordination, specialty assemblies and fine detailing. The position requires a motivated, professional personality, developed design skills, interpersonal skills and a commitment to producing quality work. The designer will be expected to collaborate as a team member with other designers and report to the Studio Principals.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Revit
- Strong knowledge of Adobe creative suite software
- General knowledge of both Apple and Windows Operating Systems
- General knowledge of Sketchup and Rhino
- Understanding of architectural drawing and production processes
- Strong visual, verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience in an Architect’s or Landscape Architect’s office
- A license in architecture is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Create project design drawings in AutoCAD or Revit during SD, DD, CD phases
- Assist Studio Principals with drawing package releases
- Participate in design workshops & brainstorming sessions
- Create 3D Model and illustrations
- Attend phone or web conferences with clients (may be after or before hours)
- Design Analysis and conceptualization
- Materials Research and specification
- Coordinate with Engineers and other Consultants
- Quality Control procedures
Experience Level Required: 5 years minimum
Education Required: Architecture or Landscape Architecture degree. Graduate degree a plus, but not required.

Compensation: Salary 90k-95k, commensurate with experience; health and vacation benefits
