ROLE

Project Designer

We are currently seeking a dedicated and bright, highly motivated, detail-oriented Project Designer to join our team in a full-time capacity. The successful candidate will share a strong work ethic and refreshing curiosity for the carefully considered spaces we proudly create for our clients. Preparation of client presentations, architectural drawings, construction plans, specification schedules, and research materials are central to the daily work of this position, and will be closely directed by Senior Staff.

Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills will be essential for the applicant to appropriately interface with and support our valued clients. This position offers a wonderful opportunity to gain valuable professional experience, focused on upholding impeccable levels of design, customization, and craftsmanship in the production of meaningful and lasting environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create architectural drawings and plans through computer-aided design
  • softwares, BIM, Revit, and appropriate 3D/2D modeling or rendering
  • techniques
  • Research and management of permitting processes
  • Pleasantly, efficiently, and professionally correspond with clients to
  • facilitate project options, choices, and deliverables
  • Assist with building code research
  • Coordinate building systems (electrical, mechanical, structural) to align
  • with design intent
  • Maintain, organize, and archive projects as required
  • Regularly set and meet goals for deliverables with Senior Staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • BS in Architecture, BArch or MArch Degree
  • Fluency in creation of architectural drawings and plans
  • 0-5 years of post-graduate experience in field of architecture
  • Excellent listening capacity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ease with graphic communications
  • Detail-driven, proactive, highly organized, engaged
  • Passion for great design and its relationship to constructability
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suites
