N H D M ArchitectsN H D M is a New York-based practice for design and research operating at the intersection of architecture and urbanism, founded by its partners Nahyun Hwang and David Eugin Moon. Each project of N H D M is a unique exploration of today’s complex cultural, social, and environmental milieu, and experimentation toward new spatial potentials. The realities of contemporary cities and territories serve not only as the subjects of investigation but as critical inspiration and fertile testing grounds. Through carefully framed research, propositions, and material executions, the work aims to be introspective yet anticipatory. N H D M’s ongoing work includes a wide range of cultural/institutional, dwelling, and community and public space projects, as well as urban landscapes and territorial scale research that explore some of the most critical topics of in the contemporary built environment. N H D M’s work is bolstered by the principals’ extensive transdisciplinary experiences prior to founding. We are seeking dedicated individuals for a number of ongoing and upcoming projects.
