Ammor Architecture llpAmmor Architecture, llp is currently looking for a Project Architect. Candidate must love residential design and detailing, be able to take residential or small scale commercial projects from start to finish working direct with the Partners, Junior Staff, and building partners. Applicants must be organized and comfortable taking on multiple projects of various scales and various timelines. Experience with project/ team leadership, mentoring, and client communication is desired. The candidate must be an excellent designer and interested in the arts.
Ammor Architecture, llp is an award-winning, New York City-based architecture and interior design firm. Partners Goil Amornvivat and Thomas Morbitzer, whose backgrounds are in architecture and design, lead a practice that considers all aspects of the built environment, from site plan to furniture.
AMMOR’s work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, AD, Interior Design, and many more. In 2024, AMMOR was the recipient of an AIA Brooklyn Merit Award for a residential project in East Hampton, NY.
Candidate must:
• 4-6 years of professional experience
• Experience in NYC Residential Design and Construction
• Team management and mentoring skills
• Practice management and business development participation
• Autonomous project management (large residential, small commercial)
• NYC DOB and Landmarks permitting experience
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude
• Critical and strategic thinking, problem-solving skills
• Professional client communication
• Strong design skills, unique perspective
• Create project timelines and budgets
• Licensed Architect (plus)
• This is an in-office position
Software Proficiency:
• Revit: Residential and commercial drawing sets
• AutoCAD: Extensive knowledge, clean and organized drawing sets
• Rhino3D: 3D modeling (architecture and furniture) and Rendering programs
• Bluebeam Revu: Efficient communication
• Adobe InDesign: Client-quality presentations
• Microsoft Office Suite
