Wamhoff Design BuildThe Architectural Project Manager’s primary responsibility is design and plan production of high-end residential and commercial projects. The project manager must head projects and see to it that the budgeting, scheduling, and operations go in sync. They must meet with the client and form a channel between the architects and the client.
Responsibilities
Interact with clients throughout the design process through permitting.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure budgeting for specification production, and coordinate scheduling and production of project specifications.
Maintain proficiency in construction products, techniques and sequences by staying abreast of product developments, new materials, code changes, and current industry trends.
Prepare Revit site plans for Architectural Project Manager by compiling surveys/elevation certificates, FEMA maps, soils reports, deed restrictions, and permitting requirements.
Submit plans for ACC/ARC/HOA approval and/or city/county permitting authorities.
Assist in the Takeoff/Bidding process.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines – phases, milestone deliveries and various project delivery types.
Review in-progress drawings, ensuring complete and coordinated technical specifications and offering modifications and improvements when appropriate.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience with an architectural firm, preferably including high-end residential projects. Bachelor’s Degree Demonstrate computer skills including knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Adobe Suite Products.
