Job DESCRIPTION
DAVIS is looking for an Architectural Project Manager who has experience managing and coordinating integrated teams of architectural associates, consultants and fabricators for large and complex architectural projects. Interior design and/or industrial experience is a plus.
Primary RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work to outline goals, budget, timing, deliverables, project scope, and required resources
- Management and coordination of clients, consultants and integrated design team
- Develop and communicate expectations on each project for achieving client satisfaction and holding the project team accountable for meeting or exceeding those expectations
- Coordinate with local municipalities and building officials during the preparation of construction documents
- Coordinate production effort with careful adherence to the design intent proposed
Required QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in an architectural practice focused on a variety of large commercial projects
- Professional Architecture degree from an accredited program (B. Arch or M. Arch) preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of current construction costs
- Knowledge and understanding of urban design, site design, entitlement procedures and current building codes
- Knowledge of building materials, detailing, construction techniques and related engineering principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate and motivate integrated team members and mentor junior staff
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and Adobe CS
- Architectural Registration required
