MESH ArchitecturesMESH is a design-oriented firm with a multi-disciplinary practice in Dumbo, Brooklyn, NY. We do residential, commercial, interesting installations, interactive projects, and residential development too. We love technology and innovation, so we appreciate inventors — people who solve problems creatively and passionately.
We are seeking an architectural designer at intermediate level, starting as soon as possible. You are a strong designer, confident, curious, motivated, with an appreciation for innovation. You think about how to improve the spaces we live and work in. You investigate building technology. You embrace responsibility. You are passionate about environmental sustainability. You are confident with digital tools. Skill with web development, media installations, and digital media production is a plus, although most projects are built architecture.
We have several projects in various phases. We recently finished a 6-story mass-timber building, the first mass-timber condominium in NYC. We are working on an environmental education center in a park.
You will learn a lot. You will manage multiple projects. We are working in our office, our airy loft studio in Dumbo, Brooklyn.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
