Bright ArchitectureWe are seeking a Project Architect to lead and develop creative design concepts and strategies on multiple projects. Interested applicants must have a strong design aesthetic, enjoy creating inventive work, and be able to work collaboratively and independently. This leadership role has an emphasis on projects ranging in size and complexity from interior fit-outs to ground-up core and shell construction. Ideal candidates should be experienced designers, have good management and organization skills, and excel at communication across teams.
Responsibilities:
- Direct all aspects of project delivery and the technical implementations of design concepts into complete construction documents.
- Maintain primary client relationships throughout the predesign, design, and contract administration processes.
- Coordinate the work of multiple internal and external project consultants.
- Oversee project data, material research, and project specifications.
- Ability to travel frequently within the metro area to client meetings and project sites.
- Represent the studio at industry functions and programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum 5+ years of professional experience.
- Bachelor of Architecture or Master’s of Architecture from an accredited college or university.
- Knowledge/Experience with Vectorworks, Revit, or related BIM platform, and a willingness to learn new software.
- Retail, restaurant, and hospitality experience preferred.
- Experience on medium to large-sized projects.
