Beasley Dickson Architects is recruiting for an experienced project architect to join its team in London.

Our studio is dedicated to creating high quality homes, workplaces and hospitality projects, focused on creating lasting architecture that enhances the lives of the people that use it.

Applicants of exceptional ability and creative ambition are sought for projects in London and further afield.  Experience of all RIBA work stages is required with particular emphasis on the coordination, detailed design and delivery of contemporary residential architecture. Basement construction experience would be beneficial.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • exceptional architectural qualifications
  • at least three years’ project architect experience post Part 3 qualification (ARB registered)
  • demonstrable RIBA stage 5 and 6 construction experience in the UK
  • JCT contract administration experience, with project resourcing and time-keeping competency
  • ability in delivering projects from pitch to detailed design packages
  • experience in the residential sector, basement experience advantageous
  • creative flair and a conceptual approach to design
  • strong skills in 2D and 3D software (Microstation/SketchUp/V-Ray/Adobe Creative Suite)
  • excellent technical knowledge in coordinating and resolving complex design issues
  • a thorough understanding of sustainable design, current environmental and building standards and regulations
  • self-motivated, strong organisational skills, able to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work on several projects at once
  • fluency in spoken and written English with excellent written and communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
  • confidence communicating with clients, consultants and contractors
  • above all, a willingness to collaborate, innovate and learn, contributing to a positive team culture
