Mapos Architects, DPCMapos Architects, DPC is seeking an experienced Project Manager-level Architect for full time employment. Our current and potential projects include private residential, medium-scale developments, retail, hotel, master planning, branding, and almost everything in between. We are seeking design-oriented individuals in the NYC area who also meet the following criteria:
- 5 years minimum of design-forward professional experience
- CANDIDATES MUST BE CLIENT-FACING AND OUTGOING IN NATURE.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Approach all design and research projects, large or small, with creativity, curiosity, precision, and a sense of urgency
- Ability to problem-solve, design quickly and effectively, and present their work
- Ability to work (design, problem-solve, delegate, and organize) independently and proactively
- Ability to edit the work of others as well as effectively self-edit their own work.
- Experience leading and delegating to teams on multiple projects
- Experience in managing professional sub-consultants across various disciplines
- Knowledge of detailing and drawings standards, standard project phasing, milestones, and deliverables
- Proficiency in hand-sketching, Revit, Sketchup, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
- Must be currently located in either NYC area
