Project Architect (Portland) As a Project Architect at West of West you will own project design, documentation and delivery while managing small teams in our agile, bottom-up studio environment. You should be familiar with multifamily residential projects including zoning and building codes, permitting, detailing, and working drawings, and you should have successfully performed this role in the past.

 

The Work

  • Steward our innovative multifamily projects from concept to completion, including management of a project’s design, drawings, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance on a wide range of topics including code analysis, constructability, and detailing.
  • Consultant coordination, construction administration and project close-out

Skillsets

  • Rigorous technical understanding and strong design talent
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a notable architecture firm
  • The ability to organize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Rhino, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • A hungry, humble, and positive attitude
  • A strong, self-motivated work ethic and commitment to great design
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • An accredited  degree: B.Arch or M.Arch (preferred)
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States
