Deborah Berke Partners is an architecture and interior design practice that for over thirty years has made true-to-place projects around the country and the world. Over time, we have built a wide range of experience in projects for colleges and universities, cultural institutions, private residences, boutique hotels, office and multifamily developments, and buildings for mission-driven clients. The firm provides a full range of services, from master planning to architecture and interior design.
Deborah Berke Partners is seeking candidates with experience in all phases of institutional projects at a variety of scales. Qualified candidates will be either a Professional II Designer with 5 to 8 years of experience or a Senior Professional Designer with 8 to 10 years of experience.
Requirements:
- Design, technical and project management experience at an architecture firm
- Professional degree in architecture; licensure preferred but not required
- Works semi-autonomously on project areas and coordinates project efforts in order to ensure effective execution
- Demonstrated excellence in an area of design or project delivery
- Excellent graphic, communication, and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills, thrives in a collaborative environment and understands the importance of supporting design team members
- Pro-active, self-disciplined, and confident in a fast-paced working environment
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and hands-on
- Ability to work on and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Proven intermediate-to-advanced Revit skills
- Possess all legal permits and visas required to work in the U.S.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience. The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000.
