Archello is seeking a part-time freelance junior building product editor to join its team remotely.

Archello is looking for an ambitious junior building product editor with some experience in writing and editing articles and an affinity with architecture and the building industry.

At Archello – a fast-growing online architecture platform – we’re expanding our editorial team to write detailed documentation of building products and materials to engage professionals around the world. This role can be done parttime.

Responsibilities will include:

quick research into categories of building products and materials
writing detailed articles on building products and materials, based on multiple sources
optimising the articles for SEO
image editing for the articles
creating the articles in the CMS of Archello

The ideal candidate:

must be fluent in English with growing writing and editing skills
has a proven record of writing copy that is both lively and to the point
is self-starting and loves to see engagement around the work grow
enjoys the dynamic of an editorial office and loves to write articles swiftly
has affinity with architecture and the building industry; ideally understands what architects look for with respect to building products and materials
is keen to learn more about building products and materials, their specific properties and in which projects they are applied
