Location: London, USA
Added on: 11 Oct 2024, Job offer expires on: 30 Nov 2024

Studioshaw is seeking an experienced architect to join its team in London.

We have an opening for a qualified architect with five years’ experience to join our growing team in east London. We are looking for an ambitious candidate who is keen on developing and growing the practice.

We have an exciting range of projects in the office from new build housing to retrofit workspace and hospitality projects. We are a B-Corp certified architecture practice known for its big ideas and for delivering complex projects. Our mission is to be engaging, energetic and environmentally sensitive by being knowledgeable, researched and visionary partners for progressive organisations.

Studioshaw has a focus on low energy and sustainable development: a guiding principle that we call ‘RE:LOW’. All projects are underpinned by this philosophy: the core focus is to re-purpose, re-cycle and re-store, aiming to deliver low-tech, low-impact and low-maintenance buildings.  This approach  is applied to all of our projects, helping to minimise their impact on the planet

As a practice, we work on a broad range of projects – from temporary pavilions to large scale residential schemes. We have a collaborative approach to design, meaning everyone attends regular design reviews and are encouraged to positively contribute at every stage. We are looking for someone who will become a key member of the team. You will work closely with the practice directors but have the autonomy to push, test and develop projects.
