Practice Description:

We are a small design studio that puts people first and that starts with our own team. We work hard and push sustainable design outcomes with each project, but love to have a laugh as well with our approach to studio life being one of flexibility, respect, support and collaboration – we want our team to enjoy walking in here each morning. Our work includes residential, multi-res, hospitality, workspace and other interior fit-out projects with a focus on building relationships with current and future clients who simply get what is it we do. FYI – We also have an Alaskan Malamute who loves forcing people into being his bud. You can take him around the corner to our local coffee shop for a stroll whenever you like – unlimited espresso on us.

Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a talented and well-rounded Graduate or Registered Architect with 3+ years’ post-grad experience who isn’t scared to add value and jump into design, has documentation skills builder’s rave on about and knows how to speak their language.

Local experience in both residential and commercial town planning applications, construction documentation and contract administration are essential.

You will be dealing with clients, consultants and authorities.

We have a number of residential and commercial projects on the go with more lined up for the very near future.

This is a great opportunity to move your design career forward as an important member of small emerging design studio.

We are looking to employ someone who is both talented and looking to grow within an emerging studio long-term.

For this special person, we are offering a flexible permanent position, between 30 – 40 hours per week.

Salary negotiable, depending on experience.

If interested, applicants must be proficient in Archicad, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.

3D presentation skills would be fantastic as well. If you know how to frame a wall, even better!!

All applicants must be eligible to work in Australia with all visas in place prior to application.
