KPF, a global architecture firm headquartered in the heart of New York City, is looking for a Marketing/New Business Coordinator to join our team, a group of talented and enthusiastic individuals, who bring their own personalities and perspectives to a collaborative environment in which, together, we reinforce the identity of the firm and support its new business development and communications efforts.
Our new marketing coordinator will have the opportunity to contribute in many ways, with a particular focus on producing proposals, new business presentations, awards submissions and collateral materials.
We are looking for someone who uses both sides of their brain, being at once creative and organized, strategic and thorough. You’ll often need to switch gears quickly, from leading meetings to writing narratives to coordinating projects, being proactive and taking ownership of every step of each process.
You should always be thinking about the best story to tell, what is impactful in what we do. And your job will be that much easier if you understand and like the content — in other words, if you have an appreciation for planning, architecture and how the built environment affects our daily lives.
Ideally you are skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop in particular) and Powerpoint/Google Slides, with a keen graphic design sense to complement your writing ability.
As noted, a demonstrated interest or background in architecture is ideal, but most important is the set of skills and qualities described above matched with a high level of intellect, rigor, and motivation.
