Slade Architecture, a design-focused architecture firm based in downtown Manhattan, is looking for a Marketing Coordinator who can also take on a limited amount office management support. We are a small firm with a collaborative atmosphere recognized nationally and internationally for design.
The Marketing Coordinator will support the studio’s leadership team in ongoing marketing efforts. We seek a creative and strategic thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The candidate will:
- Research business development leads and track RFQ/RFP opportunities
- Produce customized RFQ/RFP submissions and other proposals to potential clients
- Actively manage the firm’s social media accounts
- Structure and write press releases, project descriptions, and other communications
- Coordinate ongoing marketing activities, including photography, business development correspondence
- Identify opportunities for design awards and prepare award submissions
- Research and coordinate press/PR opportunities
- Update the firm’s website using a digital platform tool.
The candidate should be a self-starter, well organized, and possess the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts, Architecture, Business, Journalism or Communications
- 3+ years experience in marketing and/or business development in a professional, creative environment. A/E experience a plus
- Advanced understanding of content creation for social media platforms
- Document layout skills, with an exacting eye for detail
- Ability to incorporate feedback quickly and decisively
- Ability to manage concurrent assignments under strict deadlines
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
- A sense of humor
This is a full-time job with a benefits package but we are open to discuss a part time arrangement. Salary dependent on experience.
