The practice encompasses corporate, civic, cultural, educational, transportation, residential, hospitality, office, retail, and mixed-use projects on a variety of scales.
We are currently seeking a part-time LEED Specialist who reports to the Director of Sustainability. This person will work on projects pursuing LEED certification, focusing on LEED credit coordination and documentation, LEED analysis, and project coordination.
Position Requirements:
- Well versed in the principles of sustainable design and environmental analysis.
- Basic understanding of architectural documentation and processes such as specifications, building envelope details, construction documents, etc.
- Sensitivity to architectural design goals.
- LEED Accredited Professional with Specialty (BD+C or ID+C) with LEED v4/4.1 BD+C, ID+C, and ND project experience.
- Graduate of Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
- 3-5 years of work experience related to sustainability and the built environment, with prior experience in LEED project management and building performance simulation.
- Excellent interpersonal, graphic, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCad, and Rhino.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task on multiple projects.
- Must be proactive, analytical, detail-oriented and a self-starter.
- Must be hardworking and a team player.
- Must be professional at all times.
