We are looking for a Landscape Architect to join our growing team in St Petersburg, FL office. This position will support our engineering team by providing landscape design expertise.
The successful candidate can expect to work in a dynamic team environment on a range of projects including parks, commercial and municipal land development, sports complexes, community planning, and streetscape design throughout the region for a wide variety of great clients. Project experiences will be diverse as we provide services to both the public and private sectors.
Our ideal candidate will contribute to the team through the following responsibilities:
• Write proposals and scope of services.
• Preparation of Drawing sets, Details and Specifications, 3D modeling and Rendering.
• Perform CADD related work per red line mark-ups for irrigation plans, planting plans, general notes and other items related to plan submittals.
• Coordinate with contractors by visiting sites to take measurements, perform field inspections, and respond to RFIs and review shop drawings
• Work closely with project team to develop project schedules and deliverable timelines.
• Prepare and submit permitting documents to lead agencies.
Minimum Requirements:
• Professional licensure required.
• BS or MS in Landscape Architecture.
• 3 or more years of relevant work experience
• Project management experience or desire to manage projects.
• Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft (Word and Excel) skills.
• Working knowledge of graphic software programs (Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView, and PowerPoint)
• Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Positive attitude, team oriented, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated; sense of urgency to produce high quality work
• Strong presentation skills and a desire to pursue work, manage clients and a team.
• Involvement in professional organizations desired.
