Nebihe Cihan Studio is looking for a junior interior designer to join its team in London.

The role will report to the creative director.

Requirements:

candidate must have a minimum of two years’ work experience in London; previous experience in an interior design or architecture firm is required
experience in residential design is required
must have a degree in interior design or architecture
knowledge in Adobe softwares is a must
must have strong drafting skills and excellent proficiency in AutoCAD
must have high proficiency in Excel
excellent communication and writing skills
customer service oriented
team player, organised, highly motivated
must have a good understanding of the luxury market and furniture
must have great problem-solving and negotiation skills
must have legal rights to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

assisting the creative director on daily tasks
drafting, producing design drawings and furniture layouts
sourcing FF&E for various projects and producing schedules
organising the materials library and trafficking samples
coordinating all maintenance and snagging requests with teams
finding new suppliers and onboarding
preparing client presentations using Adobe InDesign
communicating daily with suppliers, helping the design team with budgeting, getting quotations and negotiating supplier contracts and trade prices
working closely with the creative director, attending site visits, taking notes and issuing meeting points
keeping track of project related expenses and gathering costs for reimbursement
