Piccione Design is a small, prestigious, New York design firm dedicated to providing a full spectrum of services, active primarily in the highest echelon of residential commissions.
We are seeking an intern for the 2023 Spring semester with an interest or background in interior design, architecture, and art. Ideally, you would be available for a flexible four days per week and are within the levels of junior/senior undergraduate or are a graduate student. Please note this is not a remote position. Attendance at our Manhattan office is required. This position will be supplemented by a stipend as well as school credit if needed. *Note holidays are not paid.
Required skills are:
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino and Photoshop
• Composed
• Discrete
• Enthusiastic
• Detail oriented
Job description includes, but is not limited to
• Research and Sourcing material
• Site visits and preparation of meeting materials
• Practicing technical skills including various drawing programs
• Assist in website management and social media
• Varied operational tasks as needed
Additionally, as a firm, we offer curatorial services and connoisseurship in fine and decorative arts and as such are deeply active in the sourcing, acquisition, cataloging, exhibition, and restoration of, works of art. This area of endeavor is also open to the participation by an intern, according to their interest and skill.
