FacilitecWe are looking for a Junior Architectural + Interior Designer with 3–5 years of professional experience to join our growing design studio. Our firm specializes in corporate interiors, senior living, and medical office environments, creating spaces that are thoughtful, functional, and engaging.
This role is ideal for a designer who is equally interested in interior design and architecture and wants to understand how a project comes together from concept through construction. As a small firm, we are looking for a well-rounded individual who is excited to be involved in all aspects of a project rather than being limited to one specific role or phase.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior designers, your design director, clients, consultants, and contractors while contributing to projects from programming and space planning through design, documentation, and construction.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional experience in architecture and interior design
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- Strong interest in both interior design and architectural design
- Understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and construction methods
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (Enscape a bonus)
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand architectural and construction drawings
- Good understanding of furniture, finishes, materials, and interior environments
- Ability to work collaboratively while also taking initiative and working independently
- Hybrid Work Schedule: Must work in the office three days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week.
