We are looking for Junior Architectural Designer to join our team. Selected candidate will work directly with firm leaders and will have ongoing day to day involvement with a selection of projects. Current projects include numerous brownstone renovations and additions, apartment combinations, and facade restorations.
Responsibilities are varied and will include involvement with all phases of projects and interface with clients, consultants and contractors. We are an intentionally small office and even our most junior staff will be participating in client meetings and job site visits.
You should have the following qualifications:
- a degree in architecture (B.Arch or M. Arch preferred, but B.A. will be considered).
- a minimum of one internship an architecture firm, ideally including some work on high end residential projects
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and follow through, ability to multi-task
- Must be self motivated and comfortable working both independently and within a team.
- Excellent AutoCAD and 3D modeling skills. SketchUp proficiency desired
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
The position is in-person, with some flexibility for remote work. Annual
salary is in the range of $62,000 to $70,000, commensurate with
experience and qualifications. Benefits include standard holidays and
