Junior Architect/Revit Designer

Young dynamic architecture practice is looking for a Junior Architect for our Los Angeles office.

Assist the project team in the development of new and ongoing projects from planning through construction for ground up construction projects as well as additions and interior build-out projects.  Project types will be primarily Data Centers but will also include other building types.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of experience as a Architectural Designer or Intermediate Architect
  • Must have REVIT proficiency.
  • Other software used: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop.
  • Ability to interpret applicable Building Codes, Local Ordinances and Regulatory Agencies.
  • Must be an excellent communicator, with the ability to clearly present recommendations and ideas and to summarize complex issues.
  • Possess a high level of technical proficiency in the production of drawings in various architectural phases including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, details.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; effective and collaborative coordination with consultants, management of office staff and clients
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills. Strong problem solving ability.

Position Summary:

  • You will assist in the design and technical development of the project.
  • You will work with the project team and cross-design disciplines in developing technical solutions.
  • Assist in the coordination of permit requirements for city building permit sets.
  • Be able to work and present ideas in a team environment as well as self-manage and self-motivate in a creative environment.
