Flansburgh is seeking a licensed Project Architect with four to seven years experience in a design-oriented office. Junior Architects are responsible for development and coordination of projects throughout all phases of design, from conceptual design through construction administration. This role will assist Project Architects and Principals in design, production, conceptual direction, form, and programmatic arrangement, both independently and with a team. The qualified candidate will also participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and the design team. Exceptional design talent and technical skills are required in order to oversee the planning and execution of project documents. A five-year bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Architecture and advanced knowledge of drafting and 3-D rendering software (Vectorworks, Cinema4D, Sketchup preferred) are required. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required. A licensed/registered architect with LEED certification (or near licensure and certification) is preferred.
