Studio UNLTD is currently seeking a qualified Junior Architect to assist with a variety of restaurant/hospitality projects. This position is in person at our studio in Los Angeles.
The minimum requirements for the candidate:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
- Must have 2-5 years of design experience with ideally 1 year in hospitality.
- Experience in developing construction documents, including detailing, for multiple projects.
- Demonstrate attention to detail & organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly & professionally.
- Must be flexible to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Skills: professional experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, In-Design, Sketchup.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with the ability to work in an office while adhering to COVID-19 safety protocols.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist Project Architect in contract administration including but not limited to RFI’s, submittals, SK’s and site visits.
- Preparation of permit sets and management of agency approval process.
- Work closely with project team, consultants, contractors and agency officials.
- Research materials, codes, and building systems throughout the design and construction phases.
- Developing design concepts and communicating them with the team.
