Tom Wiscombe Architecture (TWA) is an internationally recognized architecture practice known for powerful massing, alluring graphic qualities, tectonic inventiveness, and our radical integration of ecological thinking and technology in our work. We specialize in civic, entertainment, cultural, and international gigaprojects.
Located in the American Cement Building at the edge of downtown Los Angeles, our office is a unique indoor-outdoor workplace with an engaging creative and intellectual environment.
We are seeking a Job Captain with 3-5 years of post-graduate, professional experience, preferably in a design and innovation driven office, to work on complex, iconic cultural projects. Your role will focus on document production and management, Revit standards, controls, and workflow in collaboration with project architects, consultants, and the design team.
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture
- A minimum of 3 years Revit modeling experience REQUIRED
- Strong Rhino skills REQUIRED
- Skill in working between Rhino and Revit highly desired
- Ability to draw and organize complex buildings in legible and thoughtful sets of documents
- Ability to manage and coordinate external consultants to solve technical problems
- Demonstrated reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface with consultants
- Portfolio demonstrating work in Revit and Revit Family Editor
- Minimum 3 years of office experience, post graduation
- Pre-existing authorization to work in the USA
