Merge Architectural Group is seeking a qualified full-time Job Captain to join our team.
As Job Captain, you will be responsible for using your own judgement in evaluation, selection and adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Job Captain applicants will have the technical and leadership abilities to plan, organize, and manage the efforts of a production team; to ensure the production of high-quality construction documents within an allotted time and budget. Supervisory approvals and technical guidance will be provided on unusual or complex tasks during all design phases and construction.
Requirements:
A successful candidate will possess the requirements below.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience working on similar tasks.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in BIM modeling. (REVIT).
- Architectural professional degree.
- Previous experience with consulting engineer coordination, technical detailing, specification research, obtaining agency approvals, and working with contractors is a must.
- Standard technical knowledge needed for construction documentation.
- Ability to produce, manage, and coordinate construction documentation.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local codes.
