Nardi Associates is looking for a motivated and well-rounded Job Captain to provide production leadership on project development. We are a fast-paced, design-oriented firm dedicated to quality in urban design and architecture in a wide variety of project types locally and internationally. Responsibilities/Duties:
Working directly with the Principal and Project Managers of the firm, the Job Captain will be responsible for planning, coordinating, producing and overseeing project documentation and construction observation. Oversight of junior architects and production staff.
Skills/Requirements:
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to implement the architectural design process into construction documentation in a collaborative work environment. Accuracy and efficiency in drafting is a must including the ability to problem-solve in a CAD environment. Candidates must demonstrate a strong knowledge of architectural design standards, detailing, building materials, building codes and construction. Proficiency in Revit is absolutely required and Photoshop is strongly encouraged. Working knowledge of Word and Excel is a must. Candidates with strong hand sketching skills and/or proficiency in 3D modeling/rendering/graphics design will be given special consideration. Must be a self-starter with a minimum of 5 years of Architectural office experience. Licensed in California or equivalent is desired, but not required.
Education requirements:
Five-year Architectural degree required, Masters degree desirable.
