TM LightTM Light/Taylor and Miller Architecture and Design is searching for an intermediate level lighting designer to join our growing team. We are a multi-disciplinary design studio working at the intersection of lighting design, architecture and fabrication.
The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years experience in lighting design and an accredited degree in either lighting design, architecture or interior design. Candidates must possess excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, a willingness to learn and an ability to work collaboratively with other team members. The position requires 4 days of in-person attendance at our New York office with Fridays remote.
Skill Requirements
Excellent proficiency in Autocad, Revit, Photoshop and AGI
Mock-up and model making experience
Good understanding of typical lighting and architectural detailing
3D modelling and rendering
Ability to pivot between multiple projects
Experience with light aiming is a plus
